Saturdays 9-10 p.m.

A space fantasy produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation and Time-Life Television, Dr. Who stars actor Tom Baker. For 14 years, Dr. Who has been shuttling through time and space sorting out galactic problems and vanquishing monsters to the immense delight of loyal fans around the world. Premiering Saturday, Dr. Who presents two episodes in the serialized adventures each week. The first adventure is a four-part cliffhanger called "Robot," in which Dr. Who does battle with a terrifying giant robot operated by a group of unscrupulous scientists seeking world domination by computer control of the world's atomic weapons.
