[edit]

BBC-1's long running series Dr Who will reach its 500th edition on Saturday, January 20 and the event will be celebrated on the previous day in BBC-1's lunchtime Pebble Mill.

Tom Baker, the current Dr Who, will be in the Birmingham studios for the occasion and with him will be some of the monsters he and his predecessors have come up against over the years.
