The star of Mr Bean and Blackadder will board the Time Lord's Tardis in a one-off spoof for Comic Relief night next week. He will be joined by Absolutely Fabulous actress Julia Sawalha as his glamorous and intelligent assistant and Jonathan Pryce will play his enemy The Master. Fans of the science fiction series are campaigning for the BBC to revive the show, axed in 1989 after 26 years.
