LOOK out! The horrible Daleks are coming back by popular request.

But ugly as they were — there's one in the picture above — thousands of children just loved the Daleks.

They flooded the B B C with their pleas to revive their favourite monsters.

Now producer Verity Lambert, 28, has agreed to bring the much-loved staccato-voiced Space machines back into the story later in the year.

Large

She told me last night: "We had no intention of doing so originally, but in view of this large demand we have changed our minds."

She added: "It will take several months before we can get the scripts written to firing there back into the serial."
