A DALEK from the BBC Television "Dr. Who" serial; a baby show; and brilliant Whitsun sunshine drew great crowds to the Barnardo Helpers' League fete in the grounds of the Highlands Hotel. Crowborough on Monday.

Takings at the fete, held at the Highlands by permission Mr. and Mrs. Felton, amounted to £900.

The "gate" was 15 per cent up on last year.

Although Dr. Who was otherwise engaged, the visitor from outer space was one of the big attractions of the afternoon.
