[edit]

On a similar tack, talk of a female Doctor in Doctor Who rumbles on. Eleanor Matsuura (left) who plays Queen Hippolyta in the upcoming A Midsummer Night's Dream on BBC1 (adapted by Russell T Davies), has this to say on the subject: "I think it should be Jennifer Saunders, and if it's not her it should be Zawe Ashton [from Fresh Meat]," she tells me. Maybe Russell could help to make that happen.

Who Next? Eleanor Matsuura, Jennifer Saunders (below left) and Zawe Ashton (below right)
