"Dr. Who" fans rejoice! The campy sci-fi hero may be off the Iowa Public Broadcasting Network schedule, but the goofy British show lives in the hearts of the faithful.

So says Ken Bussanmas, anyway. Bussanmas called The Mirror to share his plans for a "Dr. Who" festival at Des Moines' Science Center June 7-8.

Bussanmas says he doubts any series biggies like the original "Dr. Who," John Pertwee, will show, but the festival promises plenty of entertainment.

Spelling correction: Jon Pertwee
