Hardcore Whovians can put your "Doctor Who" knowledge to the test — and break out that "Doctor Who" costume you're dying to wear — at a team trivia event Saturday in Chicago.

Pub quiz masters Geeks Who Drink are hosting "Don't Blink: A 'Doctor Who' Quiz" in 20 U.S. cities at bars and restaurants, including River North's Municipal Bar + Dining, 216 W. Ohio, at 5:30 p.m.

The trivia competition is timely, coming one week before the highly anticipated world premiere of the 50th anniversary special, "Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor," at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, on BBC America.

Quiz questions about the British sci-fi sensation will focus mainly on the modern "Who" era, starting with the ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) through his current incarnation (Matt Smith). But be prepared for some classic "Who" material to be thrown into the mix, too.

Trivia teams can have a maximum of six players, each of whom pays a $5 admission fee. Winners get a cash prize. Admission is first come, first served, so show up early if you want to be sure to get a table.
