MON DIEU! Tardis is to whisk Dr. Who off to Gay Paree .... for real.

Tom Baker and his glamorous new sidekick Lalla Ward are to go on vacation in the French capital for an episode in the new series, which starts its new run in September.

"It is the first time we have been on location abroad and we plan to film at the top of the Eiffel Tower along the banks of the River Seine, and at several more famous Paris attractions and beauty spots," said producer Graham Williams, obviously very excited by the prospect.
