[edit]

Dr Who lives a most hazardous life. No matter what part of space and time he visits he is always pursued by enemies. There is no peace in the past or the future.

Today he faces new enemies in "Dr Who and the Mind Robber" (BBC-1), a new five-part serial, he faces the White Robots.

The Tardis is in the path of molten lava with the fluid links again causing trouble. Reluctantly the Doctor agrees to use a special emergency unit which move the Tardis out of space, time and reality.

Zoe sees a picture of her home town on the scanner and leaves the Tardis. Trying to prevent Jamie from following her, the Doctor finds himself under a powerful mental attack from some mysterious unseen force.

Outside the Tardis, Jamie and Zoe, haunted by strange beckoning visions of their own selves, are pursed through the void by the fearsome White Robots.

As Dr. Who and his friends continue their adventures in a world where fiction and reality seem to merge, they meet some strange characters -- Gulliver, Cyrano de Bergerac and Blackbeard.

A strange force compels the crew to leave the Tardis and they find themselves involved in an exciting adventure in the futurist world where fiction appears to be reality.
