THE BIG PICTURE

WEDNESDAY 2 FEBRUARY, CORNWALL

Whatever the weather, there's no excuse for this type of headgear, Matt Smith!

The actor was spotted filming the latest series of Doctor Who in Cornwall last week — and it looks like the dismal English winter got the better of him.

A giant coat wasn't enough to fend off the rain, so the 28 year old acquired a granny's plastic bonnet from somewhere. Perhaps in future he should take fashion tips from his stylish co-star Karen Gillan — or buy an umbrella!
