Coliseum, Cheltenham

It seems that every So often some "thing" catches the public imagination. Ten years ago, it was Quatermass's monster. Now it's "Dr. Who's Daleks.

The film "Dr Who and the Daleks" is bound to be a popular attraction at the Coliseum, Cheltenham next week.

Starring Peter Cushing as the weird doctor, with Roy Castle, Jennie Linden and Roberta Tovey, it is the feature film version of the original [[broadwcast:The Daleks|Daleks versus the Thals TV serial]]. Of course, the real stars are the metal monsters themselves.

Dr Who und locals arrive in Tardis on a radiation-devastated planet at where the bad Daleks dominate the good Thals.

Excellent family entertainment.
