NINE million people tuned in to watch Jodie Whittaker turn into Dr Who last night. The least important thing is that, at the 13th incarnation, the new Time Lord is a woman at last. What counts is her acting, the plot and the opponent she had to overcome in that unique interplanetary destination otherwise known as Sheffield. She's nailed the part already. The light years roll by — but The Doctor remains a must-watch.
