[edit]

Not even on 31 in December do the Daleks put plans to enslave the universe to one side and instead link plungers to bark out Auld Lang Syne. As the Doctor is about to discover, her indefatigable enemies are once again setting out to conquer. Only this time, everyone — including guest stars Aisling Bea, Adjani Salmon and Pauline McLynn — is caught in a time loop that results in perilous events at a self-storage facility playing out over and over.

So while Jodie Whittaker's time in the Tardis is, we're told, fast running out, there's every chance she'll be stuck as the Doctor for ever should this deadly Groundhog Day replace New Year's Day.
