[edit]

I have always realised that Doctor Who is produced on a small budget compared with some other science-fiction epics. I should not have been surprised, therefore, to see the richest inhabitant of Androzani Major using my TV/teletext remote control to control his intergalactic business in the first episode of The Caves of Androzani (8 March BBC1). I did note that in deference to the BBC's policy on advertisements, his thumb was carefully placed over the manufacturer's name.
