Queer goings-on at the Brewery

Black-clad invaders surround the Directors' entrance and deliver a sinister parcel. Date: September 11, 1968.

The contents revealed. (Cries of Boo! Shame! Why the Directors? What about the workers?)

The 'hero', Patrick Troughton, explains to a relieved audience that all is well - it is only a film sequence for for the current 'Dr. Who' series on B.B.C. television in which he is the star. The Brewery with its large space and buildings, and railway was ideal for the scenario and Guinness agreed to this location filming.

It was a popular visit by the B.B.C. and 'Dr. Who' scans to be tickling somebody's fancy.
