[edit]

London--The Daleks appeared to have fallen through a crack in the space-time continuum yesterday, trundling past Parliament almost half a century after television viewers saw them conquer the Earth.

The evil beings were wheeled out to Westminster Bridge to restage the scene from the 1964 Doctor Who adventure when the Daleks took over London in the year 2164. Four generations of Dalek were wielding their power on the deserted road. The various models are on display at The Doctor Who Experience at Olympia until November 20.

Steven Moffat, the BBC One show's writer, said recently that the Daleks were being rested from the programme.
