Samuel Anderson joins DCI Banks (9pm ITV) as DC Vince Grady (right) tonight, the newest member of Banks's team.

  • Anderson is best-known for his roles as teacher Danny Pink in Doctor Who, assistant manager Daniel in Sky1's Trollied and policeman Ross Kirk in Emmerdale. Earlier this year, he was in BBC3 sitcom Witless.
  • Anderson also played Crowther in the original cast of Alan Bennett's The History Boys, on stage, film and radio. And he had a recurring role in sitcom Gavin & Stacey, as Gay's friend "Fingers".
