[edit]

Dr Who goes back to the age of the Aztecs in a new series of science fiction adventure to be seen from ABC-3 at 7.30 pm on Friday, July 16.

The episode is sub-titled The Temple of Evil. Dr Who, his grand-daughter Susan, Ian and Barbara find themselves in Mexico at a time when the Aztec civilisation is in full bloom.

The Aztecs adopt Barbara as their queen and one of her first acts is to stop sacrificial ceremonies. This greatly displeases the High Priest who swears to kill her.

William Hartnell plays Dr Who, Carole Ann Ford his grand-daughter, William Russell plays Ian Chesterton and Jacqueline Hill Barbara Wright.

John Bingham appears as the high priest
