Hoping to dodge Christmas, the Doctor lands on the snowy colony world Mendorax Dellora and soon bumps into River Song. For once, his old flame is not one step ahead; to his dismay, then amusement, she doesn't even recognise him. Armed with a sonic trowel, archaeologist River is more concerned with extracting a priceless diamond from her latest husband, the warrior King Hydroflax (Greg Davies).
As a screwball comedy this could be a shade sharper, but a rematch for Mr & Mrs Who is definitely in order.
