Daleks -- Invasion of the Earth" - Haymarket, Newcastle.

Peter Cushing, Bernard Cribbens

When Dr. Who's time machine, TARDIS, with his crew of intergalactic space-trotters, arrives in London in 2150 they find those arch-troublemakers the Daleks are at it again.

The whole world has been bombarded and the survivors are now working as slaves in a huge and mysterious mine shaft in Bedfordshire

Peter Cushing plays the grey-haired Dr. Who with Bernard Cribbins and Jill Curzon helping to fight the invasion of the tin monsters.

The Daleks plan to suck out the metal core of the Earth in tow the planet off to deepest space where they can colonize it. But the reckon without Dr. Who.

The Dalek plot misfires when the magnetic influnce from the earth is let loose by the doctor and the whole crew of the dustbin creatures are blown to bits.

This follow-up to the first Dalek film is full of excitement, even if you don't treat it strictly as fun. It is a children's film, but very well made.
