SOMETHING for everyone is the aim of the organisers of the Radio Balmoral exhibition. A real "Dalek", as known to Dr. Who, of B.B.C. television, and special shows by U.T.V. will cater for children.
For teenagers, there will be pop stars and twist sessions, and for adults, the opportunity of seeing the most morern equipment in radio and television and household appliances.
One of the first things to catch the eye of people entering the King's Hall during the exhibition, which will last from October 14 to 21, will be the "Belfast Telegraph" stand.
Alan Freeman, the television disc jockey, will be in charge of "twist and shout" sessions at the stand, and will be handing over some of the £l,000 worth of prizes which can be won by "Telegraph" readers.
Hundreds of pop records will be given away during the show, and these may lead to even better prizes, such as a tape-recorder or a transistor radio.
The Royal Corps of Signals display "Quicksilver," consisting of a cross-section of current equipment including several types of field radio, ranging in size from lightweight walkie - talkies to vehicle-borne sets weighing a ton or more will be on show.
Ultra-sonic cleaning baths. model submarines and submarine cable equipment will also be included.
