AN "immersive" Doctor Who theatre experience will see fans helping the Time Lord save the world.

Live show Doctor Who: Time Fracture promises to put guests "at the heart of the story as they journey across space and time".

The BBC is teaming up with West End producers Immersive Everywhere to stage the event.

Doctor Who: Time Fracture is expected to open in London next year.

The telly show, starring Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor, returns on New Year's Day.
