Dr Who star Colin Baker has revealed that his 18-month-old daughter Lucy is too frightened to watch the show. He says: "She burst into tears and screamed 'Daddy Daddy' when I was grabbed by a robot. We haven't let her watch since.

A year that BBC boss Michael Grade ordered Dr Who (BBC 1, today, 5.45pm) off the air for being too violent and sexy. Colin, 43, says: "This series isn't particularly frightening, that to a small child it may seem a bit strange."
