BBC1, 7.30 p.m. FANS of the Time Lord are in for a treat tonight as Jon Pertwee returns in the classic story of the Doctor's battle against the Daleks.
The doctor and his assistant Jo Grant (played by Katy Manning) are on a mission to prevent the revival of thousands of dormant Daleks on the plant Spiridon.
The story spans the next six weeks, during which BBC bosses, who axed the series in the first place, might discover a whole new audience for this rave from the grave. The Beeb has added a little spice to Dr Who's return by devoting TOMORROW'S WORLD (7 p.m.) to the subject of time travel.
