The music for Doctor Who has the feel of a fairy tale on rocket fuel. Each piece can be as delicate as a falling tear on the face of Ruby Sunday, but also as insistent as a threat from Sutekh. And the crowd here certainly look as though they're experiencing every emotion, thanks to a rousing performance at London's Royal Albert Hall from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
As befits the time he's spent on the series, composer Murray Gold is in focus. But fans of the Jodie Whittaker era will be happy to learn that Segun Akinola's score isn't ignored.
You can see (and hear) what's in store for Ncuti Gatwa's incarnation of the Time Lord tomorrow on BBC1 at 5.10pm.
