Time, it seems, caught up with Dr Who in Adelaide today.
Television's most famous time traveller missed an early morning interview call.
Quite simply, Dr Who was pooped.
But he can be forgiven. Dr Who, English actor Peter Davison, bad a 4.30 am call yesterday to fly from Sydney to Wagga Wagga.
So a week of hectic schedules had an effect on the good doctor.
But after an hour's sleep-in, Davison was ready to tackle another hectic day.
Davison is here to autograph children's Dr Who books at Myer stores.
Davison, the fifth Dr Who since the series began 20 years ago, is a charming man of 32 and hardly the type to battle those monsters which make your hair stand on end.
"I'm not eccentric at all." he offers. "I hope I haven't disappointed you."
And Davison, much to the amusement of guests at his Adelaide hotel, gave an example of his pianist skills though his style is somewhat unorthodox.
He plays quite well and can master several instruments.
Davison followed Tom Baker as Dr Who in January 1981 and has added 52 episodes to the previous 533.
