Everyone's favourite Time Lord embarks on an epic festive adventure in this seasonal special, scripted by former showrunner Steven Moffat. Derry Girls and Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan guest-stars as Joy, who checks into a hotel room in 2024 and inadvertently opens a door to the Time Hotel — where she meets the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa, main image), who is alone in the TARDIS after companion Ruby Sunday opted to spend some time getting to know her newly found birth mother.
