THE Daleks are coming.
The tank-like aliens will be joined by Cybermen, Weeping Angels, Judoon and The Master as the Dr Who Live show arrives in Belfast this weekend.
Dr Who fanatics have been gearing up for the sci-fi event which takes over the Odyssey Arena tomorrow.
Malachy Coney (46), manager of Forbidden Planet, Belfast, has even decorated the entire front window of the shop in a Dr Who theme and can't wait to see all his favourite aliens live.
"I think this show was just made for me, I have been dreaming of something like this coming to Belfast for years," he said.
"I never knew a period in my life without Dr Who, growing up as a child in Belfast and watching those credits in black and white and that music just haunted me.
"Other boys would be out playing football and getting into all sorts of shenanigans but I wanted to travel through time and space — the only limiting factor in that was reality," the Dr Who addict said.
"I think for the 17 years that it was off-screen there was a generation of children who missed out, but now it has come back it is better than ever," Malachy said.
The show will feature optical illusions, special effects, terrifying monsters and a 16-piece live orchestra.
Opening in wartime London and concluding in an epic onstage battle, audiences should expect the unexpected.
Doctor Who Live comes to the Odyssey tomorrow, starting at 3pm.

Dr Who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-running science fiction TV show. Starting in 1963, it ran until 1989 and was resurrected in 2005. There have been 11 Dr Whos to date. As a Time Lord, the doctor has the ability to regenerate when he is nearing death.
So who's your favourites from the Time Lord's universe?

"I have watched it for the past couple of series. All my family watch the show, my mum and dad and my two sisters."
Favourite Doctor Who: "Christopher Eccleston, I think he was a great actor and played the role very well."
Favourite Enemy: "It would have to be the Daleks, they are just class."
Favourite Companion: "I loved Catherine Tate, I thought she was a great companion."
ANNE MAGENNIS (55) WEST BELFAST
"I watched the original series when I was a child, it was brilliant, you couldn't miss it."
Favourite Dr Who: "Patrick Troughton, he had a black mop of hair and I liked him."
Favourite Enemy: "I used to be scared silly of the Daleks, I used to hide behind the sofa.
Favourite companion: 'To be honest, I can't really remember many, it wasn't like today where you can look back again at it, you only got to see each episode once."
GARRY LOUDON (28) EAST BELFAST
"Myself and my four-year-old daughter watch it every week. We are going to the live show on Saturday — in the front row. It's family-friendly, entertaining with good cliff-hangers."
Favourite Dr Who: "David Tennant because he was a very good actor and very believable."
Favourite Enemy: "The Weeping Angels, they are very scary. They creep up on you, they are not alive when you look at them and then they come to life"
DONNA GILFEDDER (47) GLENGORMLEY
"I watched the original series when I was young. I think the more recent ones are a bit far-fetched."
Favourite Dr Who: "Peter Davison. Tom Baker was good but Davison epitomised what Dr Who should look like."

Favourite Companion: "I was only young when I watched so I can't really remember now."
TOM McSHANE (31) DUNDRUM

BARBARA GROGAN (22) NEWTOWNABBEY
"I'm not going on Saturday but I would love to. I had friends who were really interested in it, so I got hooked through them. I started watching it in 2005.1 would never miss it that's what I go home for, to watch Dr Who."
Favourite Dr Who: "David Tennant would be my favourite doctor, he was my first doctor and so he is special to me."
