Sexy sidekick takes on killer Santas plus you musn't miss on telly over Xmas
BLONDE babe Billie Piper is just what the Doctor ordered this Christmas.
The lovely lass lights up our screens on Christmas Day in a special Doctor Who episode.
And we'll even get to see Billie and David Tennant, who replaces Christopher Eccleston as the new Timelord, share a sneaky snog!
But it all meant that Billie, who plays the does sidekick Rose Tyler in the cult BBC1 show, had to start her Crimbo five months early.
"I'm an absolute Christmas freak," she says. "And I love the fact that it all starts in October these days.
"But for me this year, it started in July — when we began filming the Christmas special.
"It was slightly bizarre shooting snow scenes in the middle of summer, but I was thrilled!"
Billie, 23, who filmed the show with sexy Scot David in Cardiff, reckons the Christmas special is one of the best episodes she's starred in.
And it's not hard to see why. Apart from that kiss, we see the Doctor languishing in bed, recovering from his draining regeneration process.
So Rose and pal Mickey (Noel Clarke, 30) are left to battle a killer
Christmas tree, a group of killer Santas, and a plot to take over the world by the Sycorax, a monstrous alien race—on their own.
"It was great to start filming series two with this amazing, emotional and scary episode," grins Billie.
"I'm a huge fan of festive specials. It means so much to me that our show goes out on Christmas Day when all the families will be sitting together, eating copious amounts of chocolate and drinking sherry.

"And I have to be honest, I think I'm going to need a few sherries myself before I sit down to watch it!"
It has been a fantastic year for Billie, who started out as a teen singing sensation before marrying TV maverick Chris Evans, 39.
In the last 12 months her acting career has taken off beyond her wildest dreams.
And she is still brimming with pride following her recent success at the annual National Television Awards, where she picked up the title of Most Popular Actress.
Doctor Who also won Best Drama and Most Popular Actor for Christopher Eccleston, 41.
"It was the most amazing feeling," says Billie. "I was so terrified and really thought one of the soap actresses would win. When they said it was me I was just amazed. It was a strange evening. I felt I was having an out of body experience."
Hunky co-star David, 34, has revealed there will be some of the strongest chemistry ever seen between Doctor and sidekick.
"We do kiss in the opening episode but you're going to have to wait and see what happens afterwards," says the former Casanova star.
"They're not s**gging, but in every other way they're a couple — like John Steed and Emma Peel in The Avengers.
"Mind you, he is about 900 and she's 19, so it'd be a bit Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones." Tennant was nervous about appearing on screen with Billie but she soon won him over.
"She's perfect, so welcoming and easy to work with," he gushes. "Billie is a brilliant actress."
