1964-03-27 Tewkesbury Register.jpg

[edit]

NOW children can make their own Dalek, the mechanical monsters in B.B.C. TV's "Dr. Who," will it not be long before do-it-yourself magazines have articles on how to make your own home computer? The wage-earner of 1984, instead of handing over his wage packet to the wife, feeds in his pay slip, details of his bills, re-payments and so on into the computer, which in a few seconds tells him how to budget!
