DALEKS are set to invade a museum in a sci-fi special.
The exterminators from Dr Who will be a star attraction at the sixth annual event at Woodhorn Museum, focusing on aliens, superheroes and time lords at the Northumberland attraction this coming Sunday.
And visitors are being invited to enter into the spirit of the occasion by dressing in costume.
There will be prizes for the best dressed in a 14 and under category and one for older sci-fi lovers then, at 3.30pm, there will be a group photograph opportunity for everyone in costume.
The Daleks are expected to start gathering from 10am at the start of the Ashington event, which will continue until 4pm. There will be activities and games for everyone to join in plus a "Sci-Fair" where visitors can pick up collectables and sci-fi merchandise.
Woodhorn director Keith Merrin said: "It's a brilliant day for the whole family. The extra-terrestrial visitors are a huge hit with our visitors."
Past attractions have included Jedis and Jawas, Darth Vader and Batman.
But it seems aliens and dogs don't go and visitors are asked to leave pets at home. Only assistance dogs will be allowed.
