DR Who fan David Robertson has changed his name by deed poll ... to Dr Who.

Now the maths student's rent book, driving licence and cheque book carry the name of his sci-fi hero.

David, 31, who is trying to build a time machine in his front room in Deptford, South London, said yesterday: "Not everyone understands. My girlfriend Sonia refuses to call me Doctor."
