Secret Diary of a Call Girl returns to our TV screens and it's set to be a hair-raising rollercoaster

When we catch up with Belle, she's fully ensconced in her new life as a high-class independent escort — but she's still every bit as savvy, and her outfits (and yes, fellas, her undergarments) are even more glamorous than before.

However, nothing's ever simple in the life of Belle de Jour, and we're rushed into the heart of the action when she faces the very real prospect of falling in love for the first time after meeting a handsome young doctor named Alex. Having initially mistaken him for a client, Belle is faced with a dilemma — should she or shouldn't she go on a date with the dishy doc? What will happen when she has to reveal what she does for a living? Is it possible for the girl who seemingly has it all to ever have a normal relationship?

On the subject of relationships, Belle still has her tense friendship with best mate Ben to contend with — he's the only person who knows about her secret life, but is his new domestic bliss making him drift from his old friend?

And on top of all this, Belle finds herself the unwilling mentor of a young wannabe call girl called Bambi — a bolshy (if a little clingy) new character who Belle feels compelled to show the ropes.
