She has that sparkle in her eye, but also the potential for quaking anger when necessary. feelinglistless *Sarah Lancashire would be a fantastic choice. And also, the scripts should connect back to the ones from the golden period, with social commentary rather than just vacuous pyrotechnics. theshonny *My first response is Chiwetel Ejiofor, but since I'd much rather see him as the next James Bond, I'd suggest instead Daniel Kaluuya (Skins, Black Mirror), Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum) or perhaps Dev Patel. If the Doctor must be a white man (and I can't think why) then the American actor Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory would do nicely.
