DOCTOR WHO gas Billie Piper and Christopher Eccleston were spotted holding hands on their latest filming session in the centre of Cardiff yesterday.
The pair have been filming the much-anticipated new series of the BBC's cult sci-fi series in Wales for several months.
New Doctor, Eccleston, 40, and pop-star-turned actress Piper, 22, have been to locations around South Wales for the series, which is being made by BBC Wales.
Piper's private life has recently been the focus of the attention of the London tabloid newspapers after she separated from her husband, the TV mogul Chris Evans, in September.
She is living in the Welsh capital while Doctor Who is being filmed.
Billie was just 18 when she fell in love with the ginger ex-DJ who is 16 years her senior.
They wed in Las Vegas in 2001. But the pair have admitted they are having a trial separation.
