Dr Who leaves Tardis to meet fans in Ulster

DR WHO fans are being given a special treat this week with the hit comedy Bedroom Farce at the Opera House.
For starring in the Alan Ayckbourn bash are two veterans of the cult sci-fi series.
Colin Baker was the sixth Doctor and Louise Jameson was assistant Leela to the fourth Doctor, Tom Baker.
And when the final curtain comes down at the theatre on Saturday night Colin and Louise are staying over for a Dr Who Convention at the Park Avenue Hotel on Sunday.
Flying in too is Annette Badland, who played a baddie in the Who revival when Christopher Eccleston came out of the Tardis as the modern Doctor.
"We are meeting a lot of the Who faithful in Belfast," confirmed Colin Baker.

Dr Who was launched on BBC Television in 1963 and Tennant is the 10th Doctor. The convention at the Park Avenue is being promoted by Thomas Needham and Denis Rush of UT Events.
"It's a scoop having Colin and Louise available in town for the bash, which will be attended by more than 100 fans of the cult series," said Needham.
"There will be a question and answer session with our three star guests talking about their time in the series and we hope to show some rare footage from forgotten episodes."

He was Dr Who from 1983 until 1986 and never misses the current modern series.
