LOUISE JAMESON is - probably better known to young viewers than adults.
She played Leela, the girl assistant to Dr Who in the days when Tom Baker was the doc.
Louise gave up the role because she didn't want to be identified forever with kids' science fiction.
She has since returned to other things and is currently playing Blanche Simmons, one of the women prisoners in the Jap POW camp in Tenko... that's her on the left.
In tonight's episode the women realise their hopes of an early release are unlikely.
When malaria hits the camp, Blanche and the other women are put under considerable pressure and have to start organising themselves for a long stay.
