THE Daleks — fascinating and 11 popular robots from the BBC television programme "Dr. Who" —startled shoppers in London's New Bond Street last week when they waltzed across the road and into Oriole's studios.
What the shoppers didn't know was that the Daleks had taken time off from antagonising Dr. Who and his friends to "assist" the Go Go's make their first gramophone record, "I'm Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek."
This new novelty, written by Johnny Worth, will be released on Oriole tomorrow (Friday).
