[edit]

THE red carpet was rolled out at St Saviour's Church of England Junior School for the premiere of the school's production of the hit BBC series Doctor Who.

It's the second year the Movie and Animation Club have made a Doctor Who film.

This year's production, entitled Seeker, follows the 2008 film called Parasite.

A life-size Tardis and an equally impressive full-size Dalek feature in the film.

George returns as the Doctor, but this year he had the assistance of the electronics dub to thwart one of his greatest foes — the Daleks. In the film the electronics dub create a Seeker Drone enabling an advanced scout Dalek to transport to the school grounds. This year's Dr Who built on last year's success and has more special effects, stunts, drama and suspense.

John Arnold from the school said: "The children from the Movie and Animation Club have shown dedication and commitment from the beginning of the year, starting with simple stop-frame animation to video editing, culminating in this much anticipated event?"
