EVERYONE knows Peter Capaldi meets a sticky end in the Christmas episode and regenerates into the new doc.

But viewers might need to watch the show again and again to understand it all. Capaldi tells Radio Times: "I know what happens, but I don't know how it happens. Certainly it's not straightforward.

"It's more complicated than recent ones." The two-part series finale, when The Mondasian Cybermen and The Master return, airs Saturday, BBC One.
