[edit]

Dr. Who is a television phenomenon, a BBC-produced science-fiction series that has been running in Britain since 1963. Intended originally as a children's show, the program has picked up enthusiastic viewers of all ages over the years. Its popularity can be explained in part by imaginative and exciting plot design, but there is as well a wry, gentle wit pervading each episode, and an unobtrusive educational and moral lesson surrounding the various segments of the series. Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., beginning tonight.
