THE Doctor Who cast is made to go through a body scanner as part of security checks to exterminate storyline leaks.
They are also searched for recording devices before script readings.
And, even after passing security checks, the actors are given recorded instructions with their gold-embossed scripts.
The meticulous planning was revealed by comedian Bradley Walsh who will play a companion to Jodie Whittaker's Doctor in the next series.
The Chase host, 50, told Channel 4's Sunday Brunch: "My character's name is Graham and that's all they've told me.
"You have to go through a body scanner to check you have no recording devices on you. It's really peculiar."
