Dr Who is alive and well and lives on on in the form of John Pertwee. After three episodes of the new Dr Who series, it is obvious that they've made yet another happy choice in the man to take the principal role. Pertwee looks as though he's always played the part.

Spearhead from Space — the first story — is a cracking tale which should have the youngsters well and truly hooked. Who am I kidding - I'm hooked with them.
