KOO STARK is dashing off into space with time lord Dr Who.
Prince Andrew's former girlfriend will make her TV debut in the BBC's popular sci-fi series in the New Year.
Koo and actress Nicola Bryant will team up as the sexy assistants of Colin Baker in a three-part adventure against some fiendish inter-galactic baddies.
Filming Starts in six weeks and producer John Nathan-Turner is understood to be delighted with the addition of 28-year-old Koo.
It is her first straight acting part since her romance with Andrew ended eighteen months ago.
But the BBC refused to reveal yesterday if Koo would be grappling with the Doctor's most dreaded enemies, the evil Daleks.
"Doctor Who has literally millions of fans and they'd be furious if we were to.
"We can, however, confirm that Koo will be involved in some quite unexpected encounters."
Will Koo go on to star in the whole series? No decision had been taken, added the spokesman.
Koo, who once appeared nude in a soft porn film, steadily wiped out that image while she was dating Andrew.
She follows a host of young actresses who have joined the Doctor's space battles since he first touched down in 1963.
