LPB — KLTS, Channel 24 — is going to send Dr. Who fans into ecstasy beginning at 10 p.m. Oct. 14. That's when the public broadcasting station kicks off a Dr. Who Festival.

The station is priding itself on being the first public station to "regroup" the science-fiction series. The festival takes certain elements of the series and groups them together. Fans will see the very first episode.

The first festival theme is called Hartnell's Monsters and presents encounters between Hartnell, Daleks and Cybermen. I don't know what all this means, but Dr. Who fans will.
