ACTRESS Sarah Sutton is to be the next girl to travel with Dr. Who on board the Tardis.

Sarah, 18, said yesterday that she has been a , fan of the T V series since she was a small child - when i used to frighten her so-much she would watch peeping out from behind a sofa.

Now the is to play Nyassa, Dr. Who's second girl lieutenant, and will appear towards the end of the current series in February.

Sarah, from Alton, Hampshire, who played the title role in the B B C's Alice Through The Looking Glass, said: " Dr. Who used to scare the life out of me—but I still switch on every Saturday night."

She beat forty other girls to become Dr. Who's seventeenth girl companion in as many years.

Her first role was in Winnie The Pooh when she was only nine.
