Daleks arrive from out of space? Well, perhaps not quite. But R. W. Parker had the right idea with members of his children's club parading outside the theatre in Dalek outfits, and then taking them by car to Exeter Airport where they were photographed leaving a plane. This caused quite a stir, and a photographer from one of the local papers was there—though this time press publicity did not result. But word-of-mouth surely got around after this effort that "Dr. Who and the Daleks" was playing at the ABC, Exeter.
