DR WHO is back battling against the Daleks this time in Mold. A stage production of the popular BBC television show — first screened 25 years ago — has been booked for Theatr Clwyd.

And the stage production launched this year is described as magnificent, using state-of-the-art stage techniques — lasers, video, computer drawing and flying effects.

The Doctor will be played by Jon Pertwee, probably the most popular Dr Who since the exciting adventure story series began.

He will be joined by Graeme Smith as his handsome assistant Jason, Rebecca Thornhill as a beautiful young pop star Crystal, and a nonhuman Zog. Once again the Doctor will be travelling through space and time before finally confronting his arch enemies — the Daleks.

Dr Who and the Daleks are coming to the theatre from April 17 to April 22.
