...Why was there no mention of the most famous mutants of all, the Daleks, in Michael Wolff's article "The Beast in the Cell" (STARLOG #166)? They are almost the epitome of all that's horrible about mutants: they are blobs encased in travel machines, and they constantly plot to conquer and suppress the galaxy. Otherwise, it was a very detailed article.

However, the show in which the Daleks appear, Doctor Who, is fighting for its life as its production company, the BBC. is plotting to cancel it. Doctor Who is the longest continuously running science-fiction program ever (first shown on November 23, 1963) and it needs all the help it can get from its fans.
